Anime Review: Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu / How not to Summon a Demon Lord

Ahhh who doesn't love isekai anime. For some, it may be boring and repetitive since isekai anime and manga continue to pop up and will probably to continue to do so. Isekai anime is another world and who doesn't like to experience what it is like in another world, albeit unrealistic as it is, but anime is fictional after all. Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu (Goddamn Japan with these long series names - I'll just say Isekai Maou for short) is one of those rare isekai anime that specifically focuses on the ecchi and comedy elements, and this anime peaked my interest when I saw the crab meme about Shera Greenwood being of legal age because she is 150 human years old. Despite being an ecchi anime, it's actually pretty good and makes it more awesome that our MC is an overpowered character. PogChamp!

Isekai Maou involves a guy transported into the world of his favourite game, Cross Reverie, he becomes his game persona Diablo. It is also where we also meet the other two main characters, Shera Greenwood & Rem Galleu, who are bound to him as slaves. From the get-go, we can see there's gonna be plenty of fanservice, and the author of this series wanted to please people from all sides. You got your flat chest cat-eared girl and your big-boobed elf girl, and there's other minor characters that are incredibly sexualised. There's no doubt that the creator of this series (Yukiya Murasaki - author of the LN) is a man of culture.
Diablo's face = mfw I can't upload sexualised content on Blogger.
To be honest, there's nothing heavy plot-wise since it's an ecchi and comedy isekai anime. All you get is good fanservice but people who purposely watch this series ain't gonna be too heavily focused on the plot, unless you are talking about the other "plot". Despite this, there is some story progression and we get to see Diablo's overpowered skills, so that's that. However, be warned that this series can sometimes be over-sexualized, and some people may perceive it as over the time. Personally there's a bit too much loli content in this anime, and I'm not that much of a fan of loli anyway, but sexualised lolis. especially if they look like a child can be disturbing. Nevertheless, most of the ecchi scenes are pretty funny but definitely not something you would watch in public.

Overall, if you love ecchi anime, I recommend giving this a shot. It's only 12 episodes long so it won't take too much of your time anyway. It's not going to be good enough to be an OG classic, but its entertaining enough for me to chuckle at this anime. However, if you are looking for a more serious isekai series, this is not the best option to choose, but the beauty of this anime is in the eye of beholder.
Sorry lads, but no ecchi pics here. FeelsBadMan.
