So far, the expansion has released extremely good quality cards. Whilst some cards are not constructed level worthy, most are decent in arena. Since I mainly play arena, I am looking forward to try some of these new cards out. However, since the expansion has released, my arena performance has dropped dramatically and this is most likely attributed to the relatively weak expansion cards compared to Ungoro expansion cards. During the Ungoro expansions, I could easily get above 7 wins, but now most of my arena runs are below 7 wins. Perhaps this is because I am still testing out the power levels of the new cards in arena, but some games are just absurd. In one of my games, at 6 wins-2 losses, my opponent had basically an Ungoro power deck, and his deck could easily get to 12 wins (At least Three Spikeridged Steeds, One Vinecleaver, Tirion), and this really frustrated me.
However, I took this as a positive thing and just went to constructed to try out some cool decks. The legendaries I got were Lilian Voss, Lich Queen Jaina and Deathstalker Rexxar from about 25 packs and the free legendary from prologue. I tried out elemental mage and it wasn't too bad. It occasionally ran out of steam, but that was probably because I didn't have Sindragosa and Baron Geddon. If I had these two legendaries, I would be much better off. From what I have seen, Jade Druid will definitely make a return, because that deck is absolutely crazy. However, Blizzard has thought about it and has added a cool tech card Skulking Geist (which I have added to most of my decks). Dead Man's Hand Giant Warrior, Control Paladin and Token Druid seems pretty strong too, and rarely run out of steam. Zoolock and Demonlock could also be sleepers and they seem very powerful provided that you live and not run out of steam.
