Time really flies by since it's almost Christmas. I'm neither excited nor displeased at celebrating Christmas. My family generally doesn't celebrate Christmas except for a special dinner. This Christmas, my family and I are going to a relative's house to have Christmas dinner. Personally, I'm not really a fan of getting gifts that is unknown - I rather not have anything given to me especially if the gift is not useful to me. Then again, it's just Christmas - it's the season of giving. I understand that concept, but sometimes one does not need to be materialistic and "giving" does not necessary mean presents. To be honest, a good and special family dinner is more than enough to celebrate Christmas. Oh well, that's just me, and maybe because I'm somewhat of a frugal individual.
On another note, Hearthstone released the best card nerfs to date, and the delivery of these nerfs were extremely quick. Announced on one day, released the next day. Personally, it would have been nice if they informed players at least 1 week ahead of time, so that people decide whether they want to craft it, or save it to disenchant them for them sweet dust. Luckily, none of the decks I play were affected, but these nerfs really were major. Kingsbane Rogue and Shudderwock Shaman are both decks that will definitely disappear since the cards nerfed were essential for the success of those decks. Odd Paladin got Level Up nerfed, but I still think that Odd Paladin is still viable, just not as good as before. Druid as a whole is gonna really suffer - it may kill off Malygos Druid, since all the ways to ramp quicker are increased by 1 mana - however, still possibly viable. I hope the Hearthstone team makes frequent balance changes (once every expansion at least). Shadowverse, one of the competitors release balance changes every month (if I recall correctly), and personally that's a good idea and balance changes doesn't necessarily means nerfs - it could be buffs or changes. However, I doubt Blizzard is gonna do that since that equals loss of money (they compensate players in dust if it's a nerf).
Anyway, I hope everyone will have a wonderful Merry Christmas (in less than a week) and Happy Holidays!
