I applied to a couple of jobs now and so far no interview offers so I'm a bit disappointed and kinda bored staying in the house doing the same routine over and over again. I'll probably search for more jobs in my local mall, since I probably expect them to require some casual staff for the Christmas shopping rush. Maybe it's just me but this feeling of boredom/holiday fatigue is always prevalent when I have extremely long holidays. Perhaps it's just my nature since I get bored doing the same routine over and over again, especially when it's not mentally stimulating. One of my other friends is also like this, but unlike me, he got a job so I won't be able to hang out with him until after Christmas.
On another note, I also thought of migrating to a personal domain and having a host, rather than getting my blog hosted by Blogger. I know the process is not entirely difficult, but to be frank, I'm just continuing on this blog for fun, and also to improve my writing skills. So far, not a lot of money has been made on this site (since my ads are really small-sized anyway), but I'm also thinking of partnering up with companies and being on their affiliate programs, so maybe I can make some money if you guys buy something with my link (obviously needs to be manga/anime related), but I'll probably hold off on that until after Christmas or something.
A good thing that happened during the holidays so far is that my friend who hasn't played Hearthstone in years has finally come back, and he was such a grindy player (he got to legend - which I never bothered to do since I don't play constructed very much - I just play it to get to Rank 15 or something and get the sweet 2 golden cards every month). It's nice to have a friend playing Hearthstone when I'm playing since I sometimes get bored and I wanna watch them play, or I can also complete those friend daily quests (I have always skipped them since I basically had no one to play with). I haven't played Ovewatch that much because my ping has been going haywire recently - I'm not sure whether it's my internet, Overwatch itself, or my computer, but it's most likely something on my part. I used to have a similar problem before where I had random ping spikes and it's really annoying to play competitive, or even arcade and QP properly with this hindrance. Anyway good luck to me and good luck to anyone who is trying to find a job during the holidays.
